Israel bombs entrance of Gaza’s biggest hospital, ‘Slaying Men, Women, Children’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s thinly veiled call to “go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey” is being taken literally.

On Friday, Israeli jets struck outside Gaza’s largest hospital, killing men, women, children and a horse.

Shockingly graphic footage of the slaughter was shared on social media. The videos show piles of mangled children, men bleeding out and dead, women being dragged bleeding from their feet and a dead horse covered in blood.

Israeli jets bombed the entrance of Gaza’s biggest hospital, Al-Shifa, on Friday, leaving several people dead and wounded.The hospital has been housing tens of thousands of displaced and wounded Palestinians. Israel previously told staff at the hospital to leave or it would be attacked.

At least 15 people have been killed, according to Al Jazeera.

Ashraf Al-Qedra, the spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, said jets struck a convoy of critically wounded people at the gates of the hospital who were in ambulances on their way to the south of Gaza.

In a televised press conference, he said he asked the Red Cross to accompany the convoy to ensure its safety earlier in the day.

“We informed the Red Cross the convoy started moving when the convoy departed from Al-Shifa Hospital, but the occupation targeted it in more than one location while it was still close to the hospital’s entrance,” Qedra said.

An AFP journalist at the scene said they saw multiple bodies beside a damaged ambulance.

Bombs were also dropped in the courtyards of the Indonesian hospital and al-Quds hospital.

Israel conducted the slaughter right as Blinken was meeting with Netanyahu’s cabinet to pledge US support for Israel “defending itself.”

 

 

 

When Blinken visited Israel last month at the start of the war, he told Netanyahu “I come before you … as a Jew” and cited the Holocaust to push for war with Gaza.

He also claimed Hamas’s attack was “the equivalent of ten 9/11s.”
